N’Zogbia could prove Vital!
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has recently stated that former Wigan midfielder Charles N'Zogbia is still in his plans after being on the sidelines since June of last year, after he ruptured his Achilles tendon while on holiday in America.

The £9million signing appeared to be on his way out of Villa Park last summer after he lost his number 10 squad number but Lambert said that people are “looking for something that’s not there”, before going on to say “you would think he would play before the end of the season, yes”.
I personally wondered about the player after he appears to post non-stop holiday snaps on his Instagram page, and has done for most of the season.
Despite the player failing to set the world alight since his move, I feel that he could be exactly what Aston Villa are crying out for.
Fans have been well aware over the past 18 months that we are crying out for a bit of creativity, and Villa’s failure to bring in a play-maker during the January transfer window could mean the focus turns to 27 year old N’Zogbia.
With the manager stating that he “needs him fit” I think that he also believes that Charles could step up and make this role his own, and with the player still having a lot to prove at the club it could turn out to be a vital move.
The midfielder, who has made two appearances for the French national side, has quite some pace with the ability to dribble around players and carve out chances. He can also pop up with the odd goal from midfield – something Villa clearly miss.
He is the type of player that all Premier League clubs could do with, and I think that those who have written off his Villa career should think twice and get right behind him, should he be given another opportunity.
