Will Gareth Bale replace Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid?
Some interesting news on Monday, with Cristiano Ronaldo admitting that his future at Real Madrid remains unresolved despite reports in Spain that the player had agreed a new five-year deal at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo has been linked with a return to Manchester United this summer and it’s not known how the forward feels about the prospect of Gareth Bale arriving at the Spanish giants this summer, with the Tottenham man priced at 1/5 with the bookmakers to leave White Hart Lane for Madrid.
The former United winger has two years left on his current deal at the Bernabeu, although Spanish paper AS quote Ronaldo as saying: “The situation still hasn’t been resolved and I don’t think now is the right time to talk about it.
“Perhaps we’ll be able to give more concrete news about this further down the line but now the only thing in my remit is to train and work.”
Meanwhile, Andre Villas-Boas remains adamant that Bale is part of his Spurs plans for next season despite the winger reported to be very keen on a move to Real Madrid, with the latter apparently tabling an £85m bid for the player.
“I think the rumours that anything is imminent are not true,” the Spurs manager said. “We’ve allowed ourselves conversations with Real Madrid, confirmed by their coach, I think, wrongly, but the only thing we’ve communicated is that the player is our player and not for sale.”
