Will Cesc Fabregas join RVP at Manchester United?
It’s a transfer story that refuses to go away, with Cesc Fabregas having been linked with a surprise move to Old Trafford which would further enrage supporters of Arsenal.

Fabregas was out of favour at Barcelona for much of last season and there appeared the prospect of the Spaniard returning to the Emirates Stadium this summer, although it now seems as though Manchester United could be a more likely destination.
The midfield area is a department where David Moyes will surely look to strengthen after Paul Scholes confirmed his retirement at the end of the season, while Ryan Giggs will be spending more times on tactics as he enters the very twilight of his playing career.
Chief executive Ed Woodward confirmed that Moyes has funds available to strengthen the team, providing that the right names can be attracted to Old Trafford.
“We haven’t got money burning a hole in our pocket but we have got a strategy on player purchases and if David wants to go after a stellar player he can do that,” said Woodward over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Woodward denied that a new contract was in the offing for Wayne Rooney despite the prospect of his value dropping if the forward saw out his current two-year term.
“There are no contract renewals that are being discussed. I am not sitting down with any player on an extension and there is no trigger date in the diary,” said Woodward.
“Would we be afraid to run a contract down? Of course not.”
