Blackburn Rovers manager won’t recall Christopher Samba for Arsenal game
It has been a miserable season for Blackburn Rovers, who have struggled in the bottom six of the Premier League since August and there have been several supporter protests in a bid to oust manager Steve Kean and owners Venky’s.

Kean remains as Blackburn manager and has to work out a way of steering the Lancashire side out of the bottom three, with his task not made any easier by Christopher Samba declaring that he doesn’t want to be at Ewood Park any more.
Samba is apparently fully fit ahead of this weekend’s visit to the Emirates, although the German won’t be in the squad to face Arsenal, with Kean stating that the central defender had not been in the right frame of mind to face Newcastle in the week.
Kean said: “I’m prepared to say he’s fit and he’s available but he’s not in the squad for the Arsenal game.
“I’d rather speak about people who are available to play against Arsenal. Chris has trained well today but he’s not going to be in this squad.”
Ryan Nelsen left the club earlier in the week and has joined Tottenham on a short-term deal, with Rovers supporters scratching their heads as to why he’s gone to another Premier League club in their hour of need.
