Tottenham set to replace Gareth Bale with £30million Willian
While Arsenal struggle to make additions to their squad, there are no such problems at White Hart Lane, with Andre Villas-Boas on the verge of signing Willian.

Perhaps this latest acquisition is a signal that Gareth Bale will ultimately be sold to Real Madrid before the end of August, although supporters will be encouraged that the club are prepared to reinvest in quality talent.
It is thought that Willian will cost Tottenham £30million, with Liverpool having previously shown an interest in the Anzhi forward, with the Russian club having only secured the player’s signature a few months ago.
However, the Anzhi owner has had a change of heart when it comes to big investment in the club and Willian’s imminent arrival at Spurs means that the club’s spending will reach nearly £90m for the summer once the deal has been secured.
Paulinho and Roberto Soldado arrived at the club earlier in the summer and both played a key role in helping Tottenham to an opening game victory at Crystal Palace, with the latter converting a penalty which was the only goal of the game.
Villas-Boas had no further update on the Gareth Bale situation when recently quizzed by the media, although it is thought that that player will soon be on his way to the Bernabeu.
