Sunderland 1 Manchester United 2 – Adnan Januzaj stars in Red Devils comeback
David Moyes got the win he so desperately needed at the Stadium of Light, with Manchester United coming from a goal down to claim three points against a Sunderland side who could have been two goals clear at the break.

Craig Gardner gave the Black Cats an early lead following a mistake from Phil Jones, while David de Gea made a fantastic save before the interval to keep the scoreline down, with the visitors continuing to plug away after half-time and get the goals required to win the game.
Adnan Januzaj was afforded his first Premier League start of the season and it won’t be his last after the winger scored a brace of goals which made a mockery of Moyes’ comments about Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie being a lethal partnership.
Januzaj is earning a fraction of the rest of his team-mates although two smart finishes turned the game on its head and ensured that Manchester United are back in the running for the Premier League title.
The eighteen-year-old steered Patrice Evra’s cross into the net for the equaliser and then volleyed across Keiren Westwood moments later after Nani’s cross had been headed into his path by John O’Shea.
After the match, Moyes admitted wanting to select Januzaj weeks ago, ‘He is a wonderful player, he is someone who we think a lot of. I have tried to get him in the team over the last few weeks but for various reasons it did not happen,’ said the United manager.
‘We had the odd injury and it didn’t seem right to throw a young lad in, but I would have loved to have selected him weeks ago.
‘He is a really good player, he can do most things and play in lots of different positions. He is a real talent.
‘I gave Wayne Rooney and Ross Barkley their debuts at Everton and he is certainly in their category too.’
