Spain World Cup favourites but Ramos wants improvement
Spain win World Cup Group B after an unconvincing 2-2 draw with Morocco

Spain are now the outright World Cup favourites to win in Russia, although La Roja were far from convincing during much of their Group B exertions.
They will now play the tournament hosts at the last sixteen stage, with the 2010 winners strong favourites although Sergio Ramos has called for improvement within the ranks.
The Spain captain was particularly concerned with the way that his team trailed twice before landing a precious point and he wants his teammates to step up to the plate.
“We like to be honest, not to hide anything, to tell the truth,” Spain’s captain said, “and we have to say that this is not the path.”
Ramos added: “We have to win and also give a different account of ourselves, but winning is the most important thing. There are loads of things to improve; it wasn’t a good game at all. We have to correct things.
“You can allow those mistakes in the group stage when maybe you have some margin for error, but we have to sort it out. Now any detail can see you knocked out so we have to be very careful. When you let in goals, people point at the defence but we have to be calm, improve at every point of the pitch and look at it as a team and individually, myself first of all. We have to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
“This is an important warning. We have to make this a turning point because when you have a defence that’s solid, that transmits a sense of security, and decisiveness, then it’s much more complicated for the other team to play against us. We hope we can find our level.”
