Sam Allardyce has wheeled and dealed his way through football management and it appears the former Bolton, West Ham and Sunderland boss knows how to conduct a few business transactions for personal gain too.
The FA have been shamed after the Daily Telegraph broke the story that Allardyce has been caught on camera explaining that FA rules can be broken, that the new Wembley Stadium cost way too much money and that Roy Hodgson was indecisive and made the players anxious.
Nevertheless, William Hill don’t anticipate Allardyce losing his job as England manager, with Big Sam 1/3 to take charge of the national team when they face Malta on Saturday 8 October.
The FA will be embarrassed by this latest episode although Allardyce will simply apologise for the comments that were made and claim that this was a private conversation where no rules were broken.
