Real Madrid chasing down Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois
Real Madrid keen to land Hazard this summer, with Courtois also on the radar

Eden Hazard produced the goods to help Chelsea win the Premier League title two seasons ago and the Belgian has had another vintage year, with the Blues now champions-elect.
Hazard has been a roaring success at Stamford Bridge although he might yet be playing his final few games in a blue shirt, with Real Madrid keen to somehow acquire his services this summer.
Real have a habit of making big money signings such as Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Spanish club thought to be prepared to offer Alvaro Morata as some kind of makeweight as part of the deal.
They are also keen to sign Thibaut Courtois, a player who has previously been on loan at Atletico Madrid, although Chelsea will clearly be keen to retain their best players and Antonio Conte is likely to stand in the way of Real.
The Guardian report that Morata or James Rodriguez could be used to facilitate a deal, while Hazard has previously told the same newspaper that he would leave the club after a title success.
“If I ever leave, it’ll be after winning a championship,” he said. “You need to go out on a high so that people remember you for the right reasons.”
Courtois seems less likely to make the move from Chelsea, despite Real Madrid wanting a replacement for Keylor Navas.
“I don’t see myself at Real Madrid,” he said. “I see myself at Chelsea, the club that six years ago saw me playing in Belgium and gave me the opportunity to sign for them. We will see at the end of the season if they offer me something. For the time being, there has not been an offer. I’m happy in London and I’m delighted with the success we are having this season.”
