Old Timers Show That They’ve Still Got it
For those fans who scream about how certain players are far too old, take note. This weekend has been a pretty good one for the old timers showing that they can still ‘kick it’.

This morning, we bring you a trifecta of aging stars showing just what they can do – even at the ripe old age of (in one case) 46.
To start with, we’re going to introduce Rivaldo – remember him? He’s the the Brazilian playmaker, formerly of Barcelona and Milan, who in the last three years has had more clubs than Tiger Woods.
Rivaldo has recently played in Greece, Brazil and Uzbekistan and is currently plying his trade in Angola for Kabuscorp SC.
And here he is scoring a hat-trick for his latest club, albeit against some pretty questionable defending.
Next up, we’re going to the Premier League retirement home known as Major League Soccer, where Thierry Henry is strutting his stuff.
At first, this goal against the Montreal Impact doesn’t look particularly spectacular, but the behind the goal camera shows just how difficult this chip over the keeper actually was.
Finally, we’re saving the best for last. Step forward Manchester City coach David Platt. If this evidence from City’s summer tour is anything to go by, the former Arsenal and Sampdoria midfielder could have a few agents calling.
