Wednesday Premier League scores: Cisse stuns Chelsea
There were amazing scenes at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night where Newcastle claimed a 2-0 win against Chelsea which ensures that the Magpies are firmly in the hunt for a Premier League top four finish.

Papiss Cisse scored two wonder goals to ensure that Alan Pardew’s team returned north with the three points, with the Senegal striker continuing an amazing goal ratio since arriving on Tyneside in January.
Chelsea are now four points adrift of the Champions League places and Roberto Di Matteo’s team need to beat Bayern Munich later this month to ensure they are dining at Europe’s top table next season.
That’s because Tottenham Hotspur were also victorious on Wednesday night, with Harry Redknapp’s side putting four past Bolton at the Reebok Stadium to secure a comfortable victory.
Spurs went ahead after a stunning effort from Luka Modric, although Nigel Reo-Coker levelled matters just after half-time and it looked as though Wanderers would get something from the game.
However, three goals in nine minutes took the game right away from Bolton, with Rafael van der Vaart and Emmanuel Adebayor ensuring that Tottenham enjoyed an emphatic 4-1 victory which keeps them above Newcastle on goal difference.
Arsenal will now be looking over their shoulders as they only lead Spurs and Newcastle by one point.
