Robin van Persie unlikely to sign for Manchester City
With Euro 2012 having now finished, the build-up to the new domestic season begins and one of the big question marks is whether Robin van Persie will remain at Arsenal.

The Dutchman has yet to comment on whether he has a future at the Emirates Stadium and many have linked the forward to a potential move to Manchester City, following in the footsteps of Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and Emmanuel Adebayor.
Roberto Mancini has refused to comment on the possibility of signing Van Persie, with the Italian clearly not prepared to incur the wrath of Arsene Wenger even if the Italian does want to swoop for a player with just a year left on his Arsenal contract.
“Van Persie? He is an Arsenal player and I don’t want to disrespect Wenger,” Mancini told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have four strikers and we will start the preseason in five days, it’s unlikely there will be major changes in such a short time.”
Mancini also played down speculation that Edin Dzeko could leave the club for Juventus and he hopes Aleksandar Kolarov will remain at Eastlands.
“The same goes for Dzeko, his farewell is not expected,” added Mancini.
The interest of Juventus for him? It will be difficult that Edin goes away.
“Kolarov? I myself wanted him to City, he is a great player. If it depends on me, he would remain at the City. I’d love to have him again in the next season but I cannot impose myself on his will.”
