Robin van Persie discusses Arsenal future with Dutch manager
As the Premier League season fast approaches, it appears that Robin van Persie will be lining up for Arsenal against Sunderland on Saturday, although the player’s state of mind is such that he’s only on the bench for Netherlands’ game against Belgium tonight.

Louis van Gaal has recently become the new Dutch manager and revealed that talks have taken place between himself and the 29-year-old regarding the player’s club future, with things continuing to be up in the air.
Van Gaal told a press conference aired on Sky Sports: “I think the player always has to decide for himself.
“When he wants he can ask me for advice but then I’ll speak to him, not to you.”
He added: “I had the conversation and it was unbelievable. A great and high level, not only at a human side but also in the football vision. It was one of the best meetings I’ve had with an individual player.”
It appears that Manchester United are in pole position to sign the forward although Arsenal have slapped a £20 million price tag on the player which seemingly has not yet been met.
Sir Alex Ferguson might have to wait until the transfer window is about to close for a move to be completed, although Manchester City remain hopeful that a deal can be done.
