One night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble
A man can get up to many, many things with 16 hours in Thailand. Now it seems we can add another one to the list (right beneath recreating scenes from The Hangover Part Two and something to do with ping pong balls).

Somewhere between the Centre Court at Wimbledon and a five star hotel in Thailand, Wayne Rooney happened to pick up a case of hamstring ouch that was so serious he needed to return home, via Spain.
We’re not ones to read between the lines here at the Football Scores blog, but it seems that Mr Rooney has been listening to that track by Murray Head, which warms about being too careful with your company and decided that ‘the company’ he can’t be too careful with is that of David Moyes.
So Manchester United will have to complete their “It’s About the Football and Nothing to Do with Cashing in on the Booming Asian Market – Watch it Live on MUTV” tour of Asia without Rooney, who may or may not be looking at estate agent windows in Kensington.
As the news broke, Rooney scribbled on his Facebook page: “Gutted to have picked up a niggling injury, especially as training was going so well. Heading back to Manchester to have it assessed fully but early indications are nothing to worry about.”
Nothing to worry about then, according to ‘Wazza’ – unless you’ve ordered a new Manchester United shirt with number ten on the back.
