Perhaps Newcastle United will be a Champions League club next season, with the Magpies looking to inch into the top four of the Premier League by beating Stoke City on Saturday.

It has been a remarkable campaign for the Tyneside club who have won their last five matches to draw level on points with Tottenham Hotspur and part of that recent success has been down to the goals of Papiss Cisse.
The Senegalese striker is loving live in the north-east and now hopes that the key players in the squad remain at Newcastle United so that the success can be continued.
He told the Northern Echo: “Yes, I would be worried if they (Tiote or Demba Ba) left because they have helped me a lot.
“It may effect me because of that but, at the end of the day, that’s football and if a big opportunity came along for them to move, they can.
“But I would love for them to stay and play here longer because we are doing very well together.
“It’s down to Newcastle, they will do the right thing. At the end of the day, I trust the club and they will do the right thing.”
Perhaps a place in the Champions League might persuade Tiote to stay, otherwise it appears as though the club could be ready to make a profit on the midfielder, although Cisse is dreaming of European football.
He said: “That’s my objective, Europe. I like it. I sleep with it, I wake up with it every morning.
“I know it’s tight at the top of the table, but I’m trying to do my best and hopefully, we will get there.”
