Manchester United manager: No Valencia surgery talks
Sir Alex Ferguson saw his Manchester United team leave things late at Ewood Park on Monday night, with Antonio Valencia providing a moment of magic on the right flank as his bullet shot flew past Paul Robinson.

Valencia has once again been an outstanding performer for the Red Devils this season although reports have emerged to suggest that the winger might need surgery to remove a plate from his ankle.
Ecuadorian coach Reinaldo Rueda claims that he has spoken to the player and is keen to have the plate removed before the national team play World Cup qualifiers in the summer, not that it appears to have been discussed with Ferguson.
“I am not sure where the story about his ankle has come from,” said the United manager.
“It has never been discussed. He has a plate but at the moment it stays there.
“As far as his form is concerned, what can you say?
“Antonio has been unbelievable. Absolutely brilliant.
“When you have someone like that coming back to their very best, at this time of year, it is a bonus.”
Meanwhile, Ferguson confirmed that Nani would be available for selection on Sunday, stating: “He is a good addition because he is such a talented player.”
