Manchester City will hope to draw level on points with Manchester United on Saturday, although Roberto Mancini’s team will have to manage without star striker Sergio Aguero.

The Argentine is out of the City squad for this weekend’s game with a mystery injury, although it remains unclear as to what could possibly be keeping him out of action.
Mancini was giving little away during the pre-match press conference apart from describing the injury as ‘stupid’, a word that is usually reserved for Mario Balotelli at regular intervals throughout the season.
“Sergio has a problem in his foot but it is better we don’t talk about it because it is a stupid injury,” said Mancini.
“It is not his fault but he can’t play with this injury for a week, 10 days, two weeks? I don’t know.
“For us it is a big problem because we lost Sergio against Stoke and tomorrow he can’t play. We hope we can recover him for Arsenal but I don’t know if it is possible.
“I am really disappointed and I hope it won’t be weeks.”
The injury might have been sustained on the training field by a team-mate, although it could leave the door open for Carlos Tevez to make an impact at a critical stage of the season.
