Luka Modric will leave Tottenham Hotspur according to Redknapp
We’re into the month of August and Luka Modric remains a Tottenham player, although a certain former Tottenham manager has warned that the Croatian is likely to depart for Real Madrid.

Modric appears to be angling for a move to the Bernabeu despite Daniel Levy’s best attempts to retain the star midfielder although Harry Redknapp has claimed that there’s an agreement in place which states the player can leave White Hart Lane if Real Madrid want to sign him.
Redknapp told The Sun: “I would not be sure Luka would start the season at Tottenham.
“The club would be happy to sell if they get the right money. The chairman (Daniel Levy) said to him last year ‘Give us one more season and if Real come in, I won’t stand in your way’.”
Indeed, it was twelve months ago where Levy and Redknapp went into overtime to keep Modric at the club, despite the player not being in the right frame of mind before an early drubbing against Manchester City.
Since then, Modric has helped Tottenham achieve a top-four position although made little secret of the fact that he’s an ambitious player and sees his future away from the north London club.
