At last we are beginning to see the real Luis Suarez, with the Uruguayan managing to put the race row behind him to help Liverpool comfortably win the Merseyside derby and make progress in the FA Cup.

Liverpool have supported Suarez all the way through a difficult first full season at Anfield and it appears as though the striker is set to remain at the Merseyside club for the foreseeable future, despite reports linking him to Paris St Germain.
Kenny Daglish is feeling happy after the recent Suarez comments, saying: “It’s certainly encouraging for us, although it might be bad news for the other Premier League teams.
“Luis has always said he is happy here, so it’s great for everyone who supports us.
“I don’t think he has been anything other than a threat to the opposition. So we are delighted with the wee man’s comments and we have been delighted with him since he has been here.
“Luis has made a contribution every time he has stepped out on to the pitch. He scores goals, creates goals and it’s great news that he is happy.”
Suarez will lead the Liverpool line at Loftus Road this evening, hoping to follow up on his goal against Stoke City in the FA Cup last weekend.
