Bolton manager confident that Wanderers can stay in Premier League
Last season, Wigan Athletic went to the Britannia Stadium and won 1-0, a result that saw the Latics remain in the Premier League.

Twelve months later and it’s the turn of Bolton Wanderers to play Stoke, knowing that anything less than three points will see Owen Coyle’s team relegated to the Championship.
Not that Coyle is downbeat ahead of next Sunday’s match, despite his Bolton team throwing away a 2-0 lead at home to West Brom on Sunday, with James Morrison scoring a late equaliser for the Baggies.
Coyle said: “We were always going to have to go to Stoke and get a result. We have to make sure we are on top of our game when we go to the Britannia Stadium next Sunday.
“Given the way we have played on our travels this year and the results that we have picked up, we are more than capable. Football is a game of high drama and things can change very quickly.
“We really do appreciate the backing our fans continue to give us. We are taking a sell-out allocation to Stoke and we will need every single fan behind us at the Britannia Stadium.”
