Paul Pogba set to sign for Manchester United according to latest odds
Pogba now odds-on to become a Red Devils player after reports linking the French international to Old Trafford
July 1st, 2016
The future of Paul Pogba is starting to become more clear, with the midfielder looking likely to leave Juventus this summer and sign for Manchester United.
While discussions still need to take place after Euro 2016, it appears that Pogba’s agent has paved the way for the player to return to Old Trafford four years after he was released by Sir Alex Ferguson.
Since arriving at Juventus, Pogba has developed into a world-class midfielder who has won three Scudetto titles with the Turin side and also been part of a team that reached the Champions League final two seasons ago.
His impact at Juve has been huge to the extent where he was awarded the number ten shirt at the Juventus Stadium twelve months ago after the departure of Carlos Tevez.
However, supporters of the Serie A club feared that Pogba had played his final game for the Italian champions and it seems as though the Frenchman is about to join Jose Mourinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford.
Mino Raiola is the agent to the latter and also Pogba, with a sum of £65 million likely to be enough to prise the player from Juventus.
The bookmakers certainly expect Pogba to be a United player at the start of next season, with odds of 5/6 that he lines up for the Red Devils next term and it appears Real Madrid are going to miss out on their number one target.
