Morgan Schneiderlin could make Everton debut against Manchester City
Manchester United accept a £22 million bid for Schneiderlin who will move to Everton this week

Morgan Schneiderlin arrived at Old Trafford for the princely sum of £24 million in the summer of 2015, although the eighteen months as a Manchester United player haven’t been particularly successful.
It now appears as though the Frenchman will have a chance to restart his career with Everton, with Ronald Koeman keen to land a player who he worked with while the pair were at Southampton.
After an initial bid of £19 million was turned down, a £22 bid has been accepted and that means that the midfielder might make his Everton debut on Sunday for the clash against Manchester City.
A fee was agreed on Tuesday and the deal could be completed by Thursday, with Jose Mourinho confirming that an agreement was close to being done.
“Before the match Mr Woodward told me ‘almost there’, so I have ‘almost there’,” Mourinho said. “So I’m sad, I’m happy. I’m sad because I like him and he could be an option for us in a long season.
“I’m happy because this is what he wants – he wants to play every game, to be an important player in the team. So if this is what he wants, I am happy for a very good professional, somebody I can only say good things about.”
There’s talk about Memphis Depay making a similar move from Old Trafford to Goodison Park, with the Dutchman set to find pastures new after struggling for game time under Mourinho.
