Mario Balotelli admits he’s in love with Roberto Mancini
Mario Balotelli might have had several run-ins with the Manchester City manager since arriving from Internazionale, although the Italian striker still loves Roberto Mancini and admits he’s the reason to continue playing football in England.

Balotelli is only a bit-part player at City right now thanks to the form of Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko, although the forward admits he is happy at the Etihad Stadium and hopes to remain there for many seasons.
Balotelli told Rai Sport: “With Mancini all goes well, we have a good relationship even though someone always tries to put discord among us. We love each other.”
Balotelli said: “I’m fine at Manchester City even though there are people who like to talk in the newspapers, instead of saying certain things to my face.
“I don’t give a damn.”
This was a thinly-veiled dig at Brian Marwood, City’s football administrator, who has hinted that Balotelli isn’t a particularly good role model at the club.
The Italian played an important role in the Azzurri’s 3-1 win over Denmark on Tuesday night, with Balotelli admitting it was a delight to return to the San Siro.
“I felt shivers returning to San Siro,” he said. “This is the most beautiful stadium. If it was full it would have been even better.
“With the national team and with City I’m getting better in terms of work-rate and commitment. I always try to be humble.”
