Manchester United turn attention to £30m Everton pair Fellaini and Baines
Cesc Fabregas has ruled out a departure from Barcelona this summer which means David Moyes will look elsewhere for reinforcements and it’s not a big surprise that he’s looking to plunder two of Everton’s star men.

Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini were both outstanding performers for Moyes last season at Goodison Park and it appears that Manchester United have £30million ready to make an official bid for the pair ahead of the new season starting.
The Guardian report that Everton will reject any formal bid for either player, although Fellaini has previously spoken about featuring in the Champions League and Baines might feel that a move to Old Trafford would boost his England credentials ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
Fabregas will remain a Barcelona player next season, with the former Arsenal midfielder determined to fight for his place at the Nou Camp.
He said: “My dream has always been to play at Barça and nothing has changed. I’m very, very happy here and I never thought about leaving.”
He added: “I never had any doubt. It has cost me a lot to return to Barça and now I want to triumph here.”
United had two bids rejected for the midfielder this summer, having been on the verge of lodging a £35million bid although it appears they will now have to admit defeat.
Moyes recently stated that new faces will be arriving at the club before the season starts although whether his former club Everton will be prepared to part with two of their best players remains to be seen.
