Manchester United manager claims Nani will stay at the club next month
The January transfer window is about to open, with Manchester United potentially offloading several fringe members of the squad, although it appears that Nani won’t be one of them.

The Portuguese winger has largely been out of favour this season, with Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young ahead of the player in the Old Trafford pecking order, although Sir Alex Ferguson appears reluctant to allow Nani to leave in January.
“We won’t be letting him go. We need a Nani,” said the Scot.
“His contract isn’t up for a year and a half. He offers something different from the other players. He’s an incredible talent, the boy.
“Unfortunately, he’s injured at the moment. We have sent him over to Dubai for a break, to help him in his recovery.
“He’s not far away but he’s far enough away. I don’t think I will get him until the middle of January.
“He’s got a future here. Why would I want to let him go?”
Arsenal are among the clubs to be linked with the 26-year-old who is currently sidelined with an injury, although Ferguson is well known for keeping hold of players, sometimes against their will as was the case with Dimitar Berbatov before he completed a move to Fulham last summer.
