Manchester City set for triple Premier League swoop this week
Pep Guardiola ready to take spending beyond £100 million, with Leroy Sané, Gabriel Jesus and Marlos Moreno on the hit list
July 26th, 2016
Manchester City are Premier League favourites and it certainly appears that Pep Guardiola has been given a licence to go out and spend money freely in the transfer market.
Having already recruited Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito, it now appears that more fresh faces are imminent at the Etihad Stadium, with the Manchester club now in hot pursuit of Leroy Sané, Gabriel Jesus and Marlos Moreno.
It appears that Schalke are prepared to sell Sané although they are looking to command a fee of around £40 million for the German attacking midfielder who would give Guardiola an additional option next term.
Jesus is a teenage striker currently on the books at Palmeiras, with the Brazilian club valuing their player at £26 million and a bid from Juventus has already been rejected.
Marlos Moreno is available for a more modest fee, with around £8 million expected to be enough to wrest him from Atletico Nacional.
This is before the prospect of John Stones arriving from Everton, with the bookmakers suggesting that a move is likely and the central defender is definitely keen on switching clubs at this stage of his career.
