Naby Keita has ambitions to play in English Premier League and might choose Manchester City

RB Leipzig had an outstanding campaign in the Bundesliga last season although they now face a struggle to keep hold of some of their better players.
That includes Naby Keita who is currently being courted by a host of clubs after some impressive performances in Germany last term. The Guinean central midfielder made 31 appearances and scored eight goals for the Red Bull-sponsored club.
It appears that Liverpool and Manchester City are both keen to land the player’s signature, with Leipzig rating him at around £70 million and he looks to have a promising future at the age of 22.
“Arsenal, Southampton, Manchester City and Liverpool, although I did not talk with the coach,” Keita told Welt when asked about interested potential suitors a year ago.
“I hope, however, that I have the level in two, three years and could play for one of the very big clubs,” he added. “This includes Barcelona, but it also includes Real Madrid or Manchester City.”
Liverpool have been noticeably quiet in the transfer market this summer although Jurgen Klopp will wait patiently for the signings that can improve the squad, while Manchester City already have plenty of players in Keita’s position.
