Jose Mourinho set to field weakened Chelsea team against Liverpool
Mourinho unhappy that Premier League clash takes place on Sunday, just three days ahead of Champions League clash against Atletico

It was job done at the Vicente Calderon on Tuesday night as Chelsea defended manfully to stop Atletico Madrid from scoring and put themselves in a strong position to qualify for the Champions League final.
However, injuries to Petr Cech and John Terry marred the night and Jose Mourinho looks prepared to field a weakened team at Anfield in Sunday, with the Chelsea manager unhappy with the fixture scheduling.
Mourinho feels that Chelsea’s best chance of winning the Champions League could be to resign himself to defeat in the Premier League title chase and looks set to hold talks with owner Roman Abramovich to discuss the matter.
“I can’t decide by myself,” Mourinho replied when asked how the injuries would influence his team selection at Anfield. “I have to listen to the club. I’m just the manager and I have to listen to the club.
“The fact that the match is on Sunday, I think that puts the problem not in my hands but in the hands of those who decide the game should be Sunday, not Saturday or Friday. We represent English football and are the only [English] team in European competition.
“Spain have four and give them all the conditions to try to have success. So I know what I would do. I would play the players who are not going to play on Wednesday. My priority is the Champions League. But I’m not the club. I have to speak to them.”
Mourinho confirmed that Cech won’t play again this season and that Terry could only feature again if Chelsea make the Champions league final.
