The Special One is currently in charge of Real Madrid although he’s expected to leave the Spanish champions at the end of the season, with Mourinho hinting that a return to one of his former clubs could be on the cards.

That might mean managing Inter Milan although appears likelier to mean Chelsea who are currently making do with an interim manager in Rafael Benitez.

The former Porto, Chelsea and Inter Milan coach was quoted by Football Italia as saying: “I have an adventurous spirit and do not know what will happen next season.

“It’s not easy to choose a new destination after working in England, Portugal, Italy and Spain. Maybe I could return to somewhere I’ve already been. Watch out for surprises.”

Mourinho appears to have fallen out with several senior players at Real Madrid, with the Portuguese eventually looking to manage his national team although not until he has enjoyed several more seasons in charge at club level.
