Jose Mourinho sacked by Chelsea after horrendous season

Jose Mourinho has weathered a succession of storms this season as Chelsea slumped to various defeats, although it appears that the reverse at the King Power Stadium this week has seen the club’s board act with immediate effect.
It appears that Mourinho has been given his marching orders, with the Portuguese having won the Premier League title last season before a meek defence this time around which means Chelsea haven’t got a prayer of clinching the trophy again.
Even Champions League qualification as group winners hasn’t been deemed a reason to keep someone seemingly at odds with several of the players this term, with Eden Hazard especially discontented after such an amazing time of things last season.
It appears that Chelsea might draft in Juande Ramos as interim manager, with the Spaniard potentially following in the footsteps of Avram Grant, Guus Hiddink and Rafael Benitez.
However, nobody could have imagined at the start of the season that Mourinho would leave Stamford Bridge for the second time in his career, with the manager having now taken charge for the last game.
