Chelsea manager feels that the club have received the ‘right offer’ for the Spanish midfielder who could make his Red Devils debut on Tuesday

Juan Mata has taken a step closer to joining Manchester United following confirmation from Jose Mourinho that the player is having his medical with the Red Devils on Friday, while the Chelsea boss also feels that a good price has been agreed for the midfielder.
Mourinho was apparently reluctant to allow Mata to join United, although the fact that Chelsea have played the champions twice already this season led to the west London club sanctioning the move, with the figure of £37million being reached after negotiations.
Mata is likely to make his debut against Cardiff City on Tuesday, with the signing sure to act as a shot in arm for Manchester United who are flagging in seventh place right now, although an FA Cup exit at the hands of Swansea means they can now focus on resurrecting their league form.
David Moyes tried to sign Mata last summer although Chelsea rebuffed the approach and instead requested that Wayne Rooney be part of any deal between the two clubs.
However, Mourinho confirmed on Friday that the player was to have a medical with Manchester United and said: “It is a good offer. Respectful to us, respectful to the value of the player. That allows us to try to bring in another player because we need another player.
“I asked him when the offer comes, are you really happy to go? He was saying that he was. After that, we could feel mixed emotions.
“We are happy that he goes to a fantastic situation, but we are all sad as well and some of him was a bit of the same.”
Mata might expect Moyes to build a team around him, having spent a lot of the current season on the bench following two successful years at Stamford Bridge.
