FA Cup third round Sunday review – Liverpool avoid Mansfield cup upset
There were two entertaining matches played in the FA Cup on Sunday, with Swansea and Arsenal drawing 2-2 at the Liberty Stadium, while Liverpool just about avoided an upset when winning 2-1 at Field Mill.

The Swans and the Gunners once again served up an entertaining encounter which had parallels with the Premier League encounter last season, with Michu coming off the bench to put City into the lead.
However, Arsenal showed plenty of fight and another substitute Lukas Podolski came off the bench to find an equaliser, while a stunning volley from Kieran Gibbs looked to have booked the visitors’ place in the next round of the competition.
Slack defending from a late corner allowed Danny Graham to rifle home a late equaliser and the two teams will have to do it all over again at the Emirates.
Meanwhile, Liverpool landed a contentious victory against Mansfield where Daniel Sturridge scored on his debut for the Reds, with the England forward latching on to a Shelvey pass to give the Reds the lead.
Luis Suarez scored a controversial second when the Uruguayan appeared to handle the ball before stabbing it home, although Mansfield were never out of the game and a late Matthew Green goal set up a grandstand finish.
