Everton 8/1 for top four spot after Lukaku slays Black Cats
Everton third in the Premier League thanks to a 3-0 win at the Stadium of Light

So far, so good for Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park whose team have claimed ten points from their opening four games, with Everton comfortable winners against Sunderland on Monday night.
The Dutchman was clearly unhappy with the team’s first-half performance against the Black Cats, although the Toffees sprang into life after the break and Romelu Lukaku scored an eleven-minute hat-trick to seal victory for the Merseyside team.
Everton are up to third in the Premier League, although Ladbrokes still chalk them up at 8/1 to finish in the top four spots this season, with Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea expected to be in the Champions League places.
If that were to happen, it would mean Koeman’s team would need to finish higher than neighbours Liverpool in addition to north London sides Arsenal and Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Lukaku has been slashed from 25/1 to a best price 11/1 for Premier League top scorer, with the Belgian ending his drought for Everton with that hat-trick.
With the Toffees not having any European distractions, perhaps their star striker can fill his boots this season and its worth noting that he wound up in fourth place last term despite struggling for goals towards the end of the campaign.
