“Criticism of Arsene Wenger is ridiculous” says Steve Bruce
"They've had a bit of criticism, which I find ridiculous"

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has hit out at those criticising Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, describing their criticism as “ridiculous”.
The French manager has been the subject of continued criticism following some poor recent results, the Gunners failing to win any of their last five games in all competitions.
Arsenal face Hull City in an FA Cup fifth-round replay at the KC Stadium tomorrow evening, the original tie ending in a 0-0 stalemate at the Emirates over two weeks ago. Following that draw, the Gunners have lost to Manchester United and Swansea City in the Premier League and Barcelona in the Champions League.
They head into tomorrow’s clash on the back of a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on Sunday, Alexis Sanchez making sure of a point for Arsenal with a 79th minute goal.
“Whatever team Arsenal put out, there are international players all over the place in the 25-man squad, they’re an excellent team,” Bruce said to reporters.
“They’ve had a bit of criticism, which I find ridiculous, but then again it’s part and parcel as a football manager at the moment. How anybody can criticise him is beyond me with what he’s achieved and what he’s done.
“I think that typifies them at the weekend – people are criticising them and then they go and respond the way they do, and that’s typical Arsenal and typical Arsene Wenger.”
Arsenal are currently third in the Premier League table and face West Brom on Saturday evening in their next league game.
