Chelsea FC manager keen to sign Radamel Falcao
Radamel Falcao produced a virtuoso display against Chelsea in the Super Cup earlier this season and it’s hardly a surprise that Roberto Di Matteo wants to land the striker at Stamford Bridge.

Falcao scored an exquisite hat-trick for Atletico Madrid and has continued an amazing scoring record which means all top European clubs are on red alert when it comes to the availability of the Colombian forward.
That includes Chelsea despite having a £50 million forward by the name of Fernando Torres and Di Matteo admitted on Friday that any manager would want to sign a player who is currently the world’s best striker.
He said: “If you ask any manager, he would have him in his team.
“He is one of the best strikers, probably, in European and world football. His ratio of goals per game is quite impressive, not just this season but over the last three seasons, at Porto and Atletico Madrid.”
Indeed, it’s a surprise that Atletico managed to claim his signature ahead of the other leading clubs in Europe, although Chelsea are the bookmaker favourite to sign Falcao and the player himself has admitted that a move to the English Premier League would be an intriguing one.
