The Gunners have enjoyed a bright start to the season and Stan Kroenke is finally hoping that Arsenal can end their trophy drought in style by claiming the 2013/14 Premier League title.

Arsene Wenger’s team are top of the table after recovering from a 3-1 home reverse against Aston Villa to win four on the bounce, although Swansea away on Saturday represents their toughest assignment of the campaign to date.
However, the club’s owner has outlined his determination to win the title, while he continues to back Wenger to the hilt despite recent criticism of the Frenchman for failing to sign adequate players and letting star talent go.
“There’s no one I feel more strongly about and I think he is doing a great job,” Kroenke told the Daily Telegraph. “We have been very supportive, we have never wavered, we are proud of him, proud of the club, the way the club is run and how it holds itself out to the world.
“Arsène is his own man, he will make up his own mind,” Kroenke said about a potential new agreement. “There is a lot of pressure in the job, he has handled it very well but at some point we all make up our minds whether we continue in our careers.
The last time that Arsenal won the title was in 2004 and the club’s owner is hoping to see a first Premier League success since he’s been in charge.
“There would be nothing more thrilling,” he said. “I’m not getting any younger. It’s something I would like to achieve. I’ve done it a couple of times in the US [in ice-hockey, American football and Major League Soccer] and it was unbelievable.”
