Arsenal FC manager full of praise for Bob Marley
Arsene Wenger reveals he’s a big fan of Bob Marley, with the Arsenal manager admitting there’s a different side to him

How does Bob Marley like his doughnuts? Wi jam in! Now we’ve got that terrible joke out of the way, it’s time to tell you that Arsene Wenger is a fan of the Jamaican’s music as he’s recently revealed in an interview.
In an interview with le Parisien, Wenger admits that there’s a side to him that the media don’t bring out, with the Arsenal boss continuing to reveal new dimensions as the longest-serving Premier League manager by a distance.
“Yes, I love his music and the man that he was,” said Wenger. “He was not ‘fabricated’. He was real. I love people who do not have conventional paths and who stand out because of their talent. Raymond Devos and Pierre Desproges are also some of my favourite comedians.
“It is true, it is an aspect of my personality that people do not know about,” he said. “With my job, I am often stressed, so I might appear a bit like a constipated person. But I like to laugh when I am with my friends and to let my humorous side reign free, something that I obviously cannot do in front of the media.
“You know that you can quickly cause irreparable damage when you have my job. I am more interested in controlling that”.
Wenger will hope that his injury-hit Arsenal team can overcome a stubborn Sunderland side on Saturday, although life could be hard against a visiting team who have finally learnt to defend properly.
