West Bromwich Albion v Middlesbrough tips: Back away win at the Hawthorns
High-flying Middlesbrough are the visitors to the Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon
August 26th, 2016
Aitor Karaoke has lifted Middlesbrough from a mid-table Championship side to a decent Premier League outfit and the Teessiders sit in a healthy fifth place following the opening two games of the season thanks to their derby win over Sunderland and the draw against Stoke City.
They will be confident of clinching their second win of the season at the expense of a West Brom side which opened their campaign with a win over Crystal Palace but followed that with a dismal 2-1 defeat to Everton at the Hawthorns last week.
The Baggies’ confidence won’t have improved following their midweek EFL Cup defeat to Northampton Town and whilst they can boast some star names such as Darren Fletcher, Saido Berahino and Jonny Evans, they will struggle against a Middlesbrough outfit which can boast the services of Gaston Ramirez, Cristhian Stuani and a very in-form Alvaro Negredo.
West Brom start this match as favourites with Ladbrokes going 13/8 for a home win and the side have scored in every match this season so far regardless of the final outcome, however Middlesbrough have been enjoying their mini unbeaten run and as such we’ll be looking at the Both Teams to Score market with William Hill going 6/5 that the net bulges at both ends on Sunday afternoon.
Alvaro Negredo will be brimming with confidence at the moment and the star loan player can be backed at a very healthy 6/1 with Bet365 to break the deadlock at the Hawthorns this weekend.
