Tony Pulis can be relatively happy with the way his side have performed so far this season. The side has been restructured during the summer months and they have amassed some eight points from their opening six outings with two wins, two draws and two defeats.

Considering that the two defeats came against reigning champions Chelsea as well as Manchester City, Pulis won’t be too disappointed, although he will definitely be pleased with victories over Midlands rivals Stoke and Aston Villa. Indeed, you can back the baggies to grab their first win at the Hawthorns this season at 2/1 with Bet365.

Everton will also be more than happy with their start to the season. They have suffered just one defeat so far, this being to Manchester City with two wins and three draws in their other five outings.

Roberto Martinez’s side have won away to Southampton and against Chelsea at Goodison Park, therefore the Spanish manager won’t be disappointed with draws against Swansea City and Spurs. You can grab yourself a tempting 6/4 on an away win in the West Midlands tonight.

For us though, we’ll be backing a stalemate. The Toffees have displayed a resilience on the road this season leading to successive draws away to Swansea and Spurs, while they also drew their opening match against Watford. The Baggies have also drawn two of their matches this term with goal-less draws against Watford and Southampton. The visitors may boast a stronger squad, however home advantage will play a part, so we’re going for the draw at 12/5 with Betfred.

To be honest, we’re not expecting this clash to be the most entertaining of the season so far. Both sides have been looking strong in defence of late and they will likely cancel each other out at the Hawthorns, therefore we expect that the defenders will dominate over the ninety minutes.

BETTING TIPS – Match ending in a draw – Betfred  12/5
