Wales v Andorra Tips – Welsh celebrations will begin
Wales can celebrate their qualification for Euro 2016 in style when they host Andorra on Tuesday evening
October 12th, 2015
Wales put to an end their long exile from major international football tournaments at the weekend after coach Chris Coleman steered his side to the Euro 2016 finals in France, despite suffering defeat to Bosnia-Herzegovina in their penultimate qualifying match.
Their place was secured thanks to Cyprus enjoying a surprise win against Israel, sparking scenes of huge celebrations amongst the Welsh camp.
Wales may be through to the finals, however they still have one match left to play. Can they wrap up their campaign in style? We think so, given that their opposition on Tuesday will be group minnows Andorra.
Wales were forced to come back from a goal down in their precious meeting, Gareth Bale sending them to a 2-1 victory, although we expect a much more emphatic win this time around.
Either way, we expect Bale to provide the spark that will send Wales to a comprehensive win in their final competitive game before next year’s finals. The Real Madrid player has failed to score in his last two Wales appearances, however he can put this goal-drought behind him against the Andorrans.
The question is, how many will Wales score? We expect Bale to get his name on the scoresheet a number of times and Coleman’s men have managed to grind out some excellent results in this campaign, therefore we expect the side to end with a flourish and run riot. Paddy Power’s 13/2 for a Welsh 4-0 win has grabbed our attention and we’ll be looking no further than that.
