Tottenham have only suffered a single defeat at the start of the season, this being against Manchester United at Old Trafford, this record making them just one of two teams who have lost a single game this term, the other side being surprise package Leicester City.

Spurs currently sit fifth in the league table some three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with manager Mauricio Pochettino successfully creating the correct balance between Europa League and domestic duties, however can they brush aside a West Ham side who have also been enjoying an excellent season and who sit level on points with their London rivals.

The North London side will be encouraged by the fact that the Hammers’ honeymoon period under new boss Slaven Bilic is fizzling out with the side failing to win either of their last two top-flight outings. Also, the loss of Dimitri Payet for up to three months will have dampened spirits at the Boleyn Ground.

Nevertheless, they are the Premier League’s third highest scoring team with goals in eleven of their twelve top-flight matches so far this term. They will take further confidence from the fact that they have suffered defeat in just one of their last five meetings with their North London opponents across all competitions.

Given West Ham’s ruthlessness in front of goal, we expect that they will breach the Spurs defence in this match, however the hosts have proven themselves to be difficult to break down and we fancy them to secure bragging rights over their rivals by clinching the three points on Sunday. Our choice of a Spurs win with both teams scoring is 11/5 with Bet365.

This leads us onto goalscorers and Harry Kane is reasonable value to add to his already impressive tally of seven goals by scoring in what looks set to be a thrilling encounter. Harry Kane is 10/11 with Sky Bet to score anytime in this match.
