Little seems to change with Tottenham Hotspur, irrespective of whom the manager is. It’s early days for Mauricio Pochettino although results suggest that we will see a mixture of strong performances with the odd erratic display thrown in for good measure.

Spurs return to White Hart Lane for the first match since being humbled 3-0 by Liverpool and this match has the extra complication of coming after a Thursday night trip to Serbia, although the manager rotated his squad for the match against Partizan.

Tottenham are predictably strong favourites for this clash against a West Brom side who are already starting to look like relegation fodder, with Allan Irvine seeing his team crash to another defeat at home to Everton last weekend.

Indeed, Albion have failed to score in their last three matches and it therefore pays to back Tottenham at 8/5 to win this game without conceding, especially as they did a similar job when beating QPR by a 4-0 scoreline.

All is not well at The Hawthorns, with Chris Brunt being booed off against the Toffees and Ben Foster angrily remarked that the supporters were “pathetic” who chose to jeer the Northern Ireland international.

Ideye Brown is yet to score for West Brom since his £10 million move and the Nigerian is already looking like a waste of money, especially when you consider he didn’t make the international team for the 2014 World Cup.

Younes Kaboul has been named as new captain for Tottenham and can help his team to a victory without conceding as Spurs look to challenge for the top four places, with Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen set to run the show.
