Tottenham Hotspur v West Bromwich Albion Tips – Spurs won’t let-up in pursuit of Foxes
Can Spurs use their game-in-hand to their advantage tonight?

Leicester City may be closing in fast on their first ever top-flight title, however Spurs are keeping the pressure on the league leaders and a win tonight against the Baggies would see the gap between the sides close to just five points.
This is not an insurmountable gap, however Mauricio Pochettino’s men desperately need to continue winning and we believe that they can manage that tonight against a West Bromwich side which may be safe from relegation but are fairly certain to finish the season in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
The Tottenham players will be in confident mood heading into this clash and there is certainly a sense of belief that the title race is far from over.
“We are not going anywhere,” Harry Kane said to the BBC following the emphatic 4-0 victory over Stoke last week. “If we keep playing like that, there are not many teams who will beat us. We think we can do it [win the title], otherwise there’s not much point being involved. Leicester are still in the driving seat being five points ahead but there are four games left and we’ve reduced the gap. That’s all we could have done.”
There is nevertheless also a clear sense at White Hart Lane that time is fast running out and while Spurs are enjoying some tremendous form, the same can be said of Leicester City.
The Foxes do have a very hard end to the campaign with upcoming games against Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea, however looking at Leicester City’s form, these are games which they avoid defeat and Spurs will need to win their remaining games to realistically be in with a chance.
Paddy Power go 2/9 for a home win at White Hart Lane tonight and whilst these odds don’t at first glance look too tempting, they should return some winnings. Nevertheless, you can back Spurs at better odds elsewhere and with the Baggies being defeated by two goals by Arsenal last week, we’ll be backing a similar outcome this evening. Manchester City are the only team to have managed more home goals than Tottenham Hotspur this season and we’ll be going with Paddy Power’s 4/6 for Spurs -1 on the handicap betting market.
A Spurs win-to-nil also looks good value at 13/18 with 888sport. The North London side have been scoring for fun of late, however they have also been defensively solid and should prove too tough an obstacle for a Baggies side which have been goal-shy on their travels.
Looking at potential goal-scorers, few will be looking past Harry Kane. The Spurs hit-man is a man for a big occasion and we feel that he will set Pochettino’s side to a much-needed three points tonight by opening the scoring at White Hart Lane. Back Harry Kane to score the first goal at 11/4 with Coral.
