Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace tips – Spurs set to light up the Lane
An improving Tottenham side should win this London derby
December 5th, 2014
Mauricio Pochettino saw his team come from behind to beat Everton on Sunday and, while they were soundly beaten at Stamford Bridge, Spurs actually played pretty well in the opening exchanges.
Tottenham should be more than a handful for an Eagles side who are more cold than hot under Neil Warnock, with Crystal Palace coming into this match off the back of a 1-0 reverse at home to Aston Villa.
Scoring goals is going to be a problem for Palace this term, with Fraizer Campbell, Dwight Gayle and Marouane Chamakh all Championship forwards and it’s hard to see them living with the far more dangerous Spurs attack.
Harry Kane is enjoying a fine season and William Hill go 8/13 about a win for Spurs, although the Tottenham defence’s leakiness means that we’re prepared to back Pochettino’s team along with both teams scoring.
Coral offer 5/2 that Spurs win and both teams score, with Christian Eriksen likely to pull the strings in front of the Tottenham supporters and we also have a 3-1 correct score in this game.
