Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace Tips – Another draw on the cards for Spurs
The spoils will be shared at White Hart Lane when Crystal Palace come to town
September 18th, 2015
Spurs were unconvincing in their opening four games of the new season, however with a Premier League win over Sunderland and a Europa League victory against FK Qarabag under their belts, can this upturn in fortunes continue when the high flying Eagles visit White Hart Lane this weekend?
The main concern for Spurs at the moment has been a distinct lack of goals, the north London outfit managing to find the net just four times in their five Premier League games to date, however with the side putting three past Qarabag in Thursday’s Europa League clash, they will have renewed confidence heading into this London derby.
Crystal Palace go into this match having won all but one of their last six Premier League away games and there are no immediate signs that Pardew’s honeymoon period is coming to an end. With the side sitting sixth in the table with nine points, things are looking good at Selhurst Park as they look for their third successive away win this season.
Nevertheless, the hosts have established themselves as draw specialists so far this term and having been forced to three stalemates already, we feel that we can’t look past another evenly-fought clash resulting in the spoils being shared once again.
Harry Kane squandered numerous opportunities in the win at Sunderland last weekend and he will be eager to score his first of the season. Indeed, as Spurs’ main attacking threat, we’ll be backing him to do the business in this match.
