Switzerland v Albania betting tips – a dour clash in Lens on the cards
We shouldn’t expect fireworks between the Swiss and Albanians when the teams meet on Saturday afternoon
June 9th, 2016
The majority of England fans will be picking up crates of beer and stockpiling the fridge with pizzas when this game is played, with Switzerland v Albania not a particularly exciting match on paper.
It shouldn’t be too much better on grass, with Albania looking to adopt a defensive approach for their opening game and the Swiss don’t have the attacking weaponry to cause them a huge amount of problems.
Switzerland’s best player is Xherdan Shaqiri and he’s been hit and miss for Stoke City this season, with England beating them home and away to top the qualifying group with relative ease.
The Albanians were largely lucky to qualify thanks to a controversially awarded victory from their clash with Serbia, with the minnows now looking to dig deep and keep themselves alive ahead of clashes against France and Romania.
