Swansea City v Tottenham Hotspur tips – Sigurdsson set to star for Swans
Gylfi Sigurdsson can haunt his former club Spurs during Sunday’s Premier League clash
December 12th, 2014
Swansea are looking pretty invincible at the Liberty Stadium this season, with Southampton the only team to leave with three points and that came down to an early sending off for the home side.
Five of the other seven home matches have resulted in victory, with Wilfried Bony scoring for fun at the moment, even if Gary Monk’s team are showing a weak underbelly on the road.
At home, it’s a different story and Swansea rate a decent bet at 6/4 with William Hill, with Gylfi Sigurdsson set to shine against his former club.
The Icelander returned to south Wales in the summer after an unsuccessful time at White Hart Lane although perhaps Tottenham are regretting the decision to allow Sigurdsson to leave considering he’s making a real impact for Swansea.
The midfielder has scored seven goals for City already this term and can be backed at 13/5 to score at any stage of Sunday’s match with bet365.
Tottenham were second best at home to Crystal Palace last weekend and their away form actually flatters to deceive considering that away wins at Hull and Aston Villa were achieved when the home team had soft sendings off.
