Swansea City v Chelsea – No upsets at Liberty Stadium
There should be no shocks in store at the Liberty Stadium as the Blues go in search of their fourth straight win
September 9th, 2016
Sunday’s Premier League offering consists of only one game with Chelsea making the journey to south Wales in search of another three points to add to the twelve which they already possess from their opening three games.
Indeed, depending on the outcome of Saturday’s Manchester derby, the Blues may be presented with an opportunity to open up a gap between themselves and the chasing pack at the top of the Premier League table.
Will this be enough to spur Chelsea on to another win on Sunday? You bet it will, as if any incentive were actually needed. Antonio Conte’s side have set out their stall early and have proven themselves to be genuine contenders for the Premier League title. They opened their campaign with a 2-1 home win over West Ham United and followed this with further victories over Watford and Burnley, the Blues banging in seven goals with just two conceded during that time.
Another three points on Sunday would further cement their title credentials and we expect to see a goal-fest into the bargain, although don’t expect many to be coming from the hosts.
