Swansea City v Bournemouth preview – Swans will return to winning ways
Swansea City can avoid a third successive defeat when Bournemouth visit the Liberty Stadium on Saturday
November 19th, 2015
These two sides meet at a time when neither are enjoying decent form. The hosts have managed just one win in their last eight Premier League matches while Bournemouth are also struggling in their first ever season in the top-flight with defeat in their last four outings and no wins in their last six.
The Cherries are also struggling in front of goal and the fact that the goals have effectively dried up will be of huge concern to manager Eddie Howe as he aims to inspire his side to a turnaround following a poor start to the season. A Bournemouth win is 7/2 with Paddy Power.
Under-pressure Swansea City boss Garry Monk will see this match as a huge opportunity to pick up a valuable three points and we feel that he will be the happier of the two managers at the final whistle on saturday afternoon.
The plain fact is that Bournemouth appear to have lost the ability to score. The Cherries have now drawn a blank in their last three outings in all competitions and whilst the Swans aren’t exactly scoring for fun of late, they should find the going easier against a Bournemouth side which have conceded no less than sixteen times in their last six Premier League outings.
Indeed, the Cherries have lost all but one of their last six matches away from home and if Swansea City can’t clinch the three points in this clash, then you would have to expect Garry Monk to be receiving his P45. Swansea City to beat Bournemouth is 19/20 with Bet365.
