Sunderland v Hull City tips – Black Cats set to maul Tigers
Gus Poyet's side can register back to back victories against a toothless Hull team
December 23rd, 2014
It’s all going badly wrong for a Hull team who weren’t threatened by relegation last term and ended up reaching the FA Cup final to boot.
Indeed, the Tigers started the season in the Europa League and perhaps it was this involvement that is affecting the form later in the season, with Hull sitting 19th and struggling to dig themselves out of trouble.
Sunderland won’t have a better opportunity to register three points, with Newcastle once again conquered at St James’ Park last weekend and there will be lots of confidence in the home team camp.
A tight defence should help the home team over the line, with former Sunderland manager Steve Bruce left wondering what to do next.
